What documents apply to mandatory certification of products?
1. Locally-produced products are subject to the "Nomenclature of products listed in normative documents of the Russian Federation, which are subject to mandatory certification".
2. Products imported into Russia from abroad and coded TNVED are subject to mandatory certification, if they are listed in the "List of products, subject to mandatory certification before their import into the customs territory of the Russian Federation " and "Nomenclature of products listed in normative documents of the Russian Federation, which are subject to mandatory certification"
What is the cost of a sanitary certificate?
The price for sanitary-epidemiological evaluation is set by centres of Gossanepidnadzor (State Sanitary Inspectorate). It is the conduction of tests which usually accounts for the major part of the costs borne. The cost of tests varies in the range from 500 roubles to several tens of thousands of roubles depending on the kind of products and complexity of the tests.
Can a TV set be certificated by your Test Centre?
SAMTES is accredited for certification of TV sets (code OKP 65 8100), therefore you can submit an order for tests using one of the following methods:

We have heard, that in June appeared new GOST standards for electromagnetic compatibility. Do they apply to our products (multimedia projection devices), which have been certificated in May of the same year?
In fact, the following standards came into force from July 01, 2004: GOST R 51317.3.2-99 "Electromagnetic Compatibility of Technical Equipment. Harmonic Current Emissions (equipment input current  16 A per phase). Limits ànd test methods”, and GOST R 51317.3.3-99 «Electromagnetic Compatibility of Equipment. You NEED NOT repeat the same certification procedure, which has been completed in May for the same models. However, if new models appear in the assortment of the projection devices manufactured by your company, you have to test your projection devices and include tests of conformity with the new standards. SAMTES is accredited for conducting such tests.
