Our Centre conducts tests of products with the purpose of the protection of consumers from: - electric shock;
- high temperatures;
- dangerous radiation;
- mechanical danger.
 The laboratory possesses test equipment and facilities for conducting tests of conformity with the abovementioned safety requirements. The measurements are made with the use of the equipment, which has been certified by the bodies of the State Committee of the Russian Federation on Standardisation, Metrology and Certification (Gosstandard).
 Besides certification tests, “SAMTES” also makes measurements of the sound level, infrasound level, ultrasound level, vibration in living rooms, industrial premises or business premises, levels of acoustic noise and vibrations generated by traffic, industrial enterprises, airports, etc., in accordance with (if applicable) state standards, construction standards, sanitary norms and applicable regulations.
In June of 1999 the Moscow City Government has approved the draft law of the city of Moscow titled "On condition of the acoustic environment in the city of Moscow". ‘SAMTES’ owns a complete set of measuring equipment, which can be used for such kind of measurements directly at the Customer’s premises.
The Group also conducts tests of ergonomic parameters of video display units.
 Ergonomic parameters of display units are measured in accordance with the following standards:
GOST R 50948-2001
Display means for individual use. General ergonomic requirements and safety requirements.
GOST R 50949-2001
Display means for individual use. Methods of measurement and assessment of ergonomic and safety parameters.
The measurements are made with the use of the equipment, certificated by the bodies of the State Committee of the Russian Federation on Standardisation, Metrology and Certification (Gosstandard).
